Monday's pets on furniture

If you would like to send me photos to include in next week's pets on furniture post, please ensure your photos follow these basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, if the photo is too dark or unfocused it may not make the cut. Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to kim[at]desiretoinspire[dot]net. Thanks!

Here is a quick picture of our little Dahlia, a Great Pyrenees sort of dog. She is not allowed on the furniture and, as you can tell, she doesn't always listen. However, when she is posing like this it is hard to make her come down.

I just brought this new India inspired paisley throw home for the couch. My black kitty, Quinoa, took to it immediately and spent the day curled up on it. He usually doesn't spend a lot of time on the couch with us so this inspired us to take a photo for Pets on Furniture!

This is our 9yr old pug, Romeo. He is usually curled up in our diamond chair sound asleep, but today we discovered him quite awkwardly perched on the edge.

I have recently been helping my friend Gary and his two cats, Buzz and Mama, decorate their new Chicago apartment, and snapped this picture as the kitties were enjoying the newly organized bedroom. If nothing else, I think this picture sums up well what it's like to live in close proximity to a sibling...

This is Sam the Goldendoodle. He likes the Noguchi coffee table because he can literally keep an eye on us from any spot he lays down on. In the office, his floor companions are a ten speed bicycle and an Aeron chair, neither of which he fancies.
