Acapulco chair

Freunde von Freunden

I love chairs, and all kinds - plush, wooden, canvas, leather, plastic, whatever floats my boat. Aside from some random vintage chairs and my Green Light District leather beaut, I currently have a couple of white Pantons, a faux Tolix from Homesense, and a few Eames (yellow shell, black leather shell and a kelly green upholstered armchair on wheels). I would love to add an Acapulco chair to the mix. Whether indoors or outdoors, this classic Mexican chair works anywhere, indoors or out on the deck. I thought it was about time I did a feature on this lovely chair.

I love the look of these chairs. CB2 does a version that is 2-toned. The only problem is they are not very comfortable, especially if you are wearing shorts.

A fantastic looking chair...but is it comfortable?

Love this post and thanks for including my patio!! I love these acapulco rocking chairs. They are comfortable, and bonus- they have a built in drink holder. Genius!

I heard that these are not so comfortable to sit in for long periods, is it true?
