Monday's pets on furniture

If you'd like to send me photos to include in next week's "pets on furniture" post, please ensure your photos follow my basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, if the photo is dark or fuzzy then it may not make the cut. Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to desiretoinspirekim@hotmail.com and PLEASE don't send closeups of your pet! Thanks!

I was doing a long overdue re-shoot of my ceramic chimes and after about 60 shots of the chimes I moved the couch back into place and my pup Ennis jumped up there. This was literally my last shot to see if i could catch him and it turned out the best.

I live in a one-bedroom apartment in Washington, DC with my husband and our 1 and a 1/2 year old lab-beagle rescue, Korus (Korus stands for Korea-US Free Trade Agreement; I'm from Korea and my husband is American ;) She is a rambunctious little girl, and we love her to pieces.
1 - Korus used to love this chair until it became wobbly. The chair is from Target, and painting is by my aunt.
2 - Korus on our couch - it was an EBay find.
3 - Korus on our bed. My handy husband made the headboard out of an old church pew and wool felt. Bedding is from West Elm.

These are my two rescues, Beau, our 5 year old pit mix and Joy, our dilute torti kitten (pic taken at 4 months). They hit it off from day one and enjoy taunting me from my own bed,where they "technically" aren't supposed to be.
