Tickled pink
My twin sister spent all of last weekend painting her living room (formerly an open concept living and dining room that was a bold chartreuse/acid green) a pale pink after lots of coaxing from me. I LOOOOVE pale pink as a wall colour. It's a bold (but not so bold) alternative to white or cream or grey. I have it in my bedroom and despite the space taking on several transformations since the pink hit the walls, it always works. As long as it's a subtle pink that is. (P.S. A tip - I couldn't find a pink that I thought was pale enough so I picked out the shade I liked - Benjamin Moore's Elephant Pink - and ended up having it mixed at 25% strength). It seems to work with any accent colours too but I especially love it with white and black. My next house will likely end up all white/black but I'm thinking pink needs to be somewhere. Anyway, I did a round up of some beautiful spaces in pale pink. Happy Friday!

Oh! LOVE the pink inspiration today!! Pink has always been a fave of mine and THANK YOU for showing us that pink DOESN'T have to be feminine! Gorgeous rooms. You are awesome!
Pink is the best, and done well in these rooms.
The best part of painting a room pink is orange.
I never thought that pale pink would look so well as a wall colour! It looks amazing! Soft, yet makes a statement!
Oh! I so much love pale pink, especially when paired with black or dark grey! I have painted my bedroom a very dark grey and added pale pink rugs and a few accessories and I heart it!
It's a tough color to get right. I like it best in hallways. Like the hallway in Rodolphe Menudier's Paris apartment that Jo posted last summer.

For pink throughout it's hard to beat Romea Sozzi's Milan apartment
