Sunshine yellow

Combine a wall of bright yellow framed windows, an expansive view of a leafy green canopy and abundant light and this apartment renovation by São Paulo based AR ARQUITETOS would brighten anyone's day. A clever "wall of cubes" allows the light to penetrate further into the kitchen while providing much needed storage without heavy walls closing in the otherwise open plan public spaces. Living here would be sunshine yellow everyday!

Susanita, in the bathroom isn´t moquette, but polished concrete, the same material applied in the kitchen.
By the way I loved the living room!

Beautiful home!
On a side note, this is the same building that was shown in the movie Blindness directed by Fernando Meirelles. The building is called Louveira and it was originally designed by João Batista Vilanova Artigas and Carlos Cascaldi.

What a surprise! I lived in this wonderful building for a year or so five decades ago when I was a little girl visiting from Canada. And it set my architectural taste for life, I have to say. I love what this owner has done with the space. Gee, I wonder if it's still the same family? Saudades!
