Stalking on a Saturday

Or perhaps I should call this one "living above the shop." Quite the change between public and private spaces isn't it? One would never imagine what lurks at the top of the stairs. An amazing old building with an interesting modern addition. It's in Windsor, Melbourne. (Love the view.) I think I would need to tweak a few things if I ever bought it in my virtual life. How about you? Link here while it lasts.

WIndsor is full of teh gorgeous :-) Also epic traffic jams; much easier to get around by bicycle or public transport.

I can see why the ground-floor 'dining room' has been repurposed into a sitting room/library -- carrying meals and dishes up and down two flights of stairs would lose its charm *fast*.

Having said that -- I do love those curly stairs!

First off, I have to say that your blog has made me obsessed with Melbourne and Australia in general. You always find the most amazing properties! If I had the money I would buy this place just to show off the pictures to all my friends here in LA.

Wow. Different! Traditional yet modern. The bones/stairs/hard to change things I love and agree just a few tweaks. Love the kitchen level though.

This is cheap (for Melbourne) too! 2.5 million...is windsor a up and coming suburb? bit more slumming it for that close to the city or something? Great!
