Stalking leftovers
The last stalking leftovers for 2013 and the last one for a few weeks I fear. The market has curled up in the shade for a sleepy, summer time siesta and won't hot up until February or March. It's been hard to find interesting houses lately. Call me particular, finicky, choosy and hard to please. Not quite right, bad photos, I need more photos please, house is amazing furniture is deplorable or no furniture at all! Can't quite put my finger on it listings with something that has me nodding "yes". This week's finds include a Virginia Kerridge designed classic, almost all the houses are by the sea (Northern New South Wales you are calling like a siren) or up in the hinterland hills, actually far too many houses where the views beat the house hands down, a couple of "whoah they had too much money" houses, an historic creeper clad bluestone mansion and last but not least former Prime Minister Julia Gillard's Altona home ... I guess we always assume that a country's political leader would be living in one of those "whoah they had too much money houses." Click on the images to head to the listings.
