Stalking leftovers
It's that time of the week again when I play devil's advocate. Lovely homes? Yes ... well ... er ... maybe. You see I am very finicky when it comes to my virtual real estate stalking. Fussy, particular, choosy, picky and hard to please. Not quite right, bad photos, more photos please, house is amazing furniture is deplorable, can't quite put my finger on it listings but all with something that has me nodding "yes". This week's finds include a church conversion apartment, some cool inner city flats (so many in inner city Sydney that I wonder if the owners know something I don't) including a jewel box of home that appeared in Belle magazine but whose real estate photos let it down and a rather bland apartment in an iconic Sydney block with a view to die for. That's it just above. Before you think it is all about overpriced bijou shoe boxes with killer vistas I have included a few houses too. Click on the images to head to the listings. All via realestate.com.au.

The art over the fireplace is fantastic! Anyone know the artist or title? Is it so famous as to be replicated at art dot com?
Aborigen art
Linda, polar bear is correct. It's Australian aboriginal art (looks like it anyway). You can find some on eBay.
I've seen the church conversion before, and I recall that it was actually surprisingly affordable because you only get the front quarter of the church. But the thing that stuck with me was that glorious sandstone terrace. It's just the place for truly legendary cocktail parties!
