New from Amanda Prior

Australian photogrpaher Amanda Prior knows how to take a room and make it come to life, give it drama and excitement through her lens. We've blogged her work before (here and here) but it has been a while so here are some new goodies to entertain your eyeballs.

I like the design of these rooms, but I hate the lighting the photographer used.

Hi there,
I adore this blog and I am interior designing our small flat. Is there anybody who could tell me which wall paper is this amazingly beautiful ornamental one on the 3rd picture behind that beautiful red hair lady? Many thanks for the info as I am looking forward for the perfect one for months. Best regards, zentera from Europe.

This place is wonderfully atmospheric, I'm sure it's not just the gorgeous photography! Love that sofa against the floorboards and curtains.

Who is the artist of the piece in images 3 and 4? I'm obsessed with that painting!

Hi Ellen, the painter is Vladimir Tretchikoff, and the work is Chinese Girl in Yellow Jacket. She is lovely, and really suits the room. VT painted during the 1940s and '50s and was immensely popular, altho critics disliked his work. Many of his prints are available online, in various qualities.
