Miles and miles at Montrose
High on the ridge of Bishopscourt in Cape Town sits a glass pavillion with views to die for. The house, Montrose, with its slick modern aesthetic is by South African design firm SAOTA - Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects. Like all their work featured here on DTI, finishes and joinery are first class, the pool and grounds a pleasure playground. No curtains, no need for privacy and everywhere the view. For miles and miles ....

LOVE THIS! and the fact they added the shutters for privacy. I was just beginning to think only the homes in Australia look like this. This house makes me want to take on the world in a positive -inviting way. Thanks for the morning love. I'm inspired.
I usually just browse through the photos when viewing your site and admittedly hardly read the text (shame on me I know), but after seeing these photos I had to scroll back up because something in the photos made me as a Capetonian think "this is home", I think it's that sunset sky!
Awesome blog, LOVE IT!!!
Lovely home, however with all the glossy and transparent "surfaces" I know I would always be walking into the "walls" and stepping into the water! ;o) ~Sparky
At some point in life, we all want to live in the mall.
Oh my God! such a innovative and beautiful house. I WANT!
Just perfect.
