Stalking a house with a secret behind the door

Behind a very unassuming facade, behind the door of a slightly tired timber and tin worker's cottage, behind what you might not give a second glance is a vibrant, modern home of polished concrete, walls of glass and white, white and more white. It's fresh and young and bright and inner city funky and it all hides behind that simple facade in Newtown, Sydney. Never judge a book by its cover. Here while the link lasts.

Oh man, I would die for that upstairs study - simply die

Hmmmm. Well, I'll offer an opposing view here...

I think the exterior is charming, and I find the interior lacking in the charm department.

This is one instance in which I wish the book were more like the cover.

The vertically sliding glass walls at the rear of the house are pretty cool.

oooh i love finding gems like this. I particularly like what i think is an IkEA wardrobe in the bedroom - gives a great option to a room without a closet.

I love the exterior and I agree that the interior lacks the same charm. I was a little surprised that they placed so much into interior renovation..yet left the courtyard looking quite abandoned
