Where the mountains rise from the water

I truly, truly believe that New Zealand is the most spectacular country on this earth. And if I wanted to sip fine wine, dine with a view and hot tub with an amazing vista then I might just have to do it at the Matakauri Lodge on Lake Wakatipu just minutes from Queenstown. Summer would be amazing but can you imagine winter? Light the fire, warm up the tub, amazing skiing is calling and if I could well ... I would. I really, really would.

New Zeland is wonderful!

The colours have a lot of power inside the house.
I love the house and where it is...

I am an avid reader of your blog and it is truly an inspiration for those who love design (I'm a sucker for scandi!).

New Zealand must be wonderful, I agree, but... pay us a visit in Portugal! You'll be amazed! Speaking of fine wine... we have some of the most awarded wines all over the world! Come and visit Porto and the Douro wine region (both being World Heritage), you won't regret it!

P. S.: Today I feel very patriotic, maybe because later we will play against Denmark for the UEFA European Football Championship :)

Queenstown is such a beautiful place to visit! The landscape alone had me in complete awe most of the time, except I was a student on a budget, I had to stay in a hostel. I would have much rather a nice stay in this lodge! Breathtaking!!

a beautiful place, I wish I lived here
