Behind the red brick facade ...

... it's all black and white. Real estate stalking on a Friday and came across this terrace house in Middle Park, Melbourne. Minimal in interiors, minimal in colour palette and minimal in personal possessions. Is this the way the owner chooses to live or has it been stripped of personal clutter for the sales photo shoot? I'm filing the bathrooms away for when I renovate my own. Not so much for the finishes but how to deal with a period window slap bang in the middle of a wet room wall. Link here while it lasts.

I agree with Selina. Awful decor. The one big picture over the fire place is what really gets me on this one.. Bare walls.. that thing is the focal point? They could have added a little more brick inside. It wouldn't probably given the right amount to feel homey. And the random MARBLE BATHROOM. I love marble.. and that bathroom was icky. Dark brown cabinets with espresso walls, steel lining and marble?

It's a lot of great "ideas".. in a really cool space..

Sometimes you just wish they'd left everything out, rather than style it for the "in-crowd". The bath & kitchen are the epitome of 'tried too hard'.
