Pared back stalking

Real estate stalking in the hills above the ocean at Lorne in Victoria. An interior pared back. Simple style. Not too much. Just enough luxury and space. Lots of space. A little bit linen, a little bit french, a little bit casual elegance, a lot Aussie bush. And a view, such a lovely view. Not what I would call me usual taste but add just a little more boho, some art ... I'd move right in. Such beautiful surroundings. So much potential.  (Just wish that some of the images weren't stretched.) Link here.

Gosh I love me some BEAMS. Fantastic example of them here. Agreed on the needing more art. It could also do with some injections of bright bright green to break up all those neutrals. It's all a bit too brown right now. But the scale - wooow, I just love that enormous bedroom!

Wow! Beam me up Scotty! This is a different world - well for me at least. Those beams are gorgeous. Now just add a shot of colour and it's perfect.

This looks like it is out of a movie! You can't beat that view. The only thing with the house is my eyes yearn for some colour and contrast. But, at the same time... turn your head to a window and all your prayers are answered!

I'm going against the tide here, but there's something that went off during the update. I can see that original materials were incorporated into the windows and sliding glass doors, and who doesn't want full light exposure, with that view? Still. Maybe it's in the proportions, or the overwhelming number of windows -- I mean, there's even a modern window over the ancient entry door. The kitchen would make me scream! Something just isn't quite right.

I am in love with that view and those beams. I can't help but think they would be awesome for an indoor hanging chair.

I agree with many of the comments, incredible views, beautiful exposed wood beams, windows and doors. But a little of color would not do any harm ... and that bedroom is insane!!!!
