Monday's pets on furniture - part 1

If you'd like to send me photos to include in next week's "pets on furniture" post, please ensure your photos follow my basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it's dark or fuzzy (from a camera phone) then it may not make the cut. Thanks! We just acquired a discarded chair because we're too poor to buy furniture right now but our cat Chloe immediately gave her approval, and it's comfortable.

Attached is a photo of my kitten Shansi on my bed! His breed is actually stated as, "Decorative and almost a piece of the furniture." Being that I work from home, as an interior designer I thought he was the most perfect little accessory :)! I only read this AFTER I fell in love with him and insisted on bringing him home :). And well from the photo I think you can see that he really is a beautiful little decoration.

The first photo is of my Scottish Terrier, Oliver, in his favorite spot on the center hall sofa where he watches the world (his world) go by. The next is a scene that greeted me recently when, after working for hours at my desk, I looked up to find both Oliver and Tilly patiently waiting. We all deserved the walk outside that followed !!!
