Monday's pets on furniture - part 3

If you'd like to send me photos to include in next week's "pets on furniture" post, please ensure your photos follow my basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it's dark or fuzzy (from a camera phone) then it may not make the cut. Thanks! (Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to desiretoinspirekim@hotmail.com and PLEASE don't send closeups of your pet!)

This is DABU, our 2 year-old Japanese Chin. He loves our 60's "newspaper" arm chair.
- Eduardo & Georgia (Brazil)

This is our neighbor's dog Turtle, who paid us a visit, choosing to sit on this little cow chair from Anthropologie. She tried out our Marimekko ottoman and had a quick jump on the Johnathan Adler couch. Of all the choices, this folding chair was her preferred seat. This puppy likes to jump on and off furniture and rarely is seen sitting quietly in one spot. She has been the only animal (or person) to oust our cat from this chair. Needless to say, the cat seemed glad to watch Turtle go and quickly curled up to sleep in her spot within minutes of her departure. I'm pretty sure the kitty slept with one eye open, to guard her precious spot against a possible second canine invasion.
- Amy

We would like to participate and send you a picture of our 10 month old French Bulldog "Django". Here on his favorite place on our Poul Kjaerholm PK31 3-seater.
- Felix, Katharina and Django (Germany)

I would like to submit "Gunther on Furniture". He seems to prefer the table over the couch...
- Andrea (Toronto)

This is Frankie the Pug. Our apartment is a shrine to him! The cushions were made by my mother who sent them to us in London from Sydney.
- Georgia

This is London's favorite pastime.  Snug as a bug.
- Spookypug

This is little Cindy. She's a 2 years old Lhasa Apso. This black couch is her favorite spot in the house. She sleeps like a person on it! It's hilarious! She also like to rest on the top of the couch, like a cat!
- Renata (Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil)

Pictured are Smokey Lonesome the Jack Russell and Chetty the Airedale dressed for St Paddy's day. They are sharing a really nice love seat covered with a crummy cover to protect it from dog hair, mud and other dog type slobber!
- Sarah (Bethlehem, CT)

Their names are Walter (my grand puppy), Bear and Kahne. They live in Oklahoma City and think the couch was made for them. :)
Bear and Newman - life is good!!

Andrea's mid-century style apartment is fab - I have a Danish coffee table exactly like that one, but sadly no pretty cat to sit on it! BTW Loving these 'pets on furniture posts' always make me smile on a Monday!

LOVE the labs on the couch. Classic!

I love the arm chair from Eduardo & Georgia (Brazil) on the first picture. Does anyone know where you can buy these chairs online?
