Stalking on a Saturday
South Yarra, Melbourne. One townhouse, one apartment. Both by Melbourne architectural and development firm Neometro. Strong sense of place and space. Rugged, almost industrial use with concrete juxtaposed with understated luxury. It's about buildings wearing in not wearing out. Real estate stalking on a Saturday. Links here and here while they last.
Update: The interiors are by Kerry Phelan Design Office and photography by the incomparable Derek Swalwell.

doesn't do anything for me sorry, bit boring i think...
So beautiful & just amazing!
I don't know if it's an increasing trend (been a while since i spent much time trawling realestate.com.au and Domain), but it seems like there's quite a shift in both these examples in the style of photography, compared to what you'd normally see in real estate ads. Much more akin to interiors mags or blogs!? Or have these places been featured on the like and the images used? I do hope it is a shift and that it also signals the end of the wide angle lens trickery!
what a beautiful house!
Really like the simplicity and material selection - Carrara, concrete & timber.
I completely agree with Phoebe's comment above. The photos look a lot more like something you would see in a design magazine rather than real estate ads.
Lovely interiors though, great post!
They have not one but two of those gorgeous turned wood light fixtures. I am in love.
The pool!
Much prefer these types of photographs; it gives more of a sense of the atmosphere of a place.
The interiors are by KPDO. Are you able to update the credit? Cheers!

Also just noticed someone's comment about the photography. The photographer was Derek Swalwell. He's not a real estate photographer.
