Monday's pets on furniture - part 1

If you'd like to send me photos to include in next week's "pets on furniture" post, please ensure your photos follow my basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it's dark or fuzzy (from a camera phone) then it may not make the cut. Thanks! (Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to desiretoinspirekim@hotmail.com and PLEASE don't send closeups of your pet!)

It's a hard knock life for us..."  Greta Garbo & Chico patiently waiting for instructions.  Or should I say treats??
- Chad & Pablo (Oxford, Mississippi)

Pls see attached some photos of my two gorgeous cocker spaniels Angus and Hamish sitting on my new fabulous Nook Lounge from Jardan. You can also see my most favourite rug from Armadillo and Co which sits beautifully next to my Nook.
- Catherine

This is Kayli on my desk. She was a stray that showed up at our front door a few months ago. We just knew we would have to find her a new home since my husband is very allergic to (most) cats...it has been over three months now and he has had no allergies whatsoever. Guess it was meant to be!!!
- Kim (Little Rock, Arkansas)

I have a few (lol)  super cute pics of my dog, Murphy!
- Kirsten (Malibu, CA)

I gave up telling her she shouldn't be on the chair... Now this piece of furniture is basically hers!
- Vanessa (Brazil)

This is Miss Ikegami.  We bought a set of chairs years ago and she claimed one as her own.  If you sit in it, she will come over to you and meow at you until you get off.  Then she will jump on to the chair and hold court. She never sits on the other chair in the set!
- Debra (Seattle, WA)

These are our adorable mutts, Remley (left) and Sammy (right). They love to run around, cause mischief, and take over whatever piece of furniture they can find when we're not looking...or in this case, when we ARE looking!

So HAPPY to hear Kayli has found a forever home with you, Kim (and husband you are awesome). I just read in Dr. Christiane Northrup's book that having sensitivities to other things (like dairy) can sometimes trigger an allergic reaction to cat fur but cutting out the allergen (dairy) will remove the allergy. Amazing. Something to keep in mind.

Greta Garbo and Chico look VERY concerned for their treats; what cuties!

Oh dear God, Greta Garbo and Chico are beyond ridiculously cute! Every single one of these melts my heart but the mutts, Remley and Sammy, take the cake. Adorable. Last week was really bad and I really needed today's Pets on Furniture. Thanks so much for the smiles!
