Primary colours

Check out this project we received from The Hub Design based in Shoreditch, London: Situated opposite Saint Pancras, the historical Queen Alexandra Mansions in Kings Cross is one of the most unique buildings of its kind. Each flat has its own layout, history and personality. In particular this property - a Bauhaus inspired project in which the Hub Design Limited designed, built, project managed and sourced everything for the property from the ground up. Our challenge was to create a minimal, stylish modern living space for art and design lovers, whilst providing storage solutions necessary in a small one bedroom property. Classic Eames furniture was used in conjunction with custom built shelving unit and a made-to-measure work space. I'm not usually a fan of primary colours but this is kind of fun! It's nice to see designers who aren't afraid of colour and go outside the box.

Oh! That awesome coat hanger is totally in keeping with my post today!

Soon I will move to a bauhaus inspired flat. Usually I prefer old buildings with charme and high roofs and heavy wooden double wing doors.
But my new flat will be totaly different. 7ft roofs, hudge Windows fronts, squarish rooms, simple doors. But its extremly cosy. But how to style the right way such a typical flat? I have lot of pictures in different frames as it looks fantastic on huge walls in old buildings. Have I to pass them away?
