Stalking country cottage getaway
Stalking out in the countryside today. Wouldn't it be lovely to have a little cottage to escape to on the weekends? I have never really been a beach girl (too much sand ...perhaps they could concrete little paths down to the waves?) but the country, that's another matter. Lazy summer breezes and afternoons spent dozing over a good book. Winter weekends by a fire drinking the bounty of cellar door forays. Friends visiting and roast dinners after an afternoon of antiquing. Love the pretty garden. Love the quirky bits and pieces filling the shelves. Love the bath sunken in the wooden floors. Nothing too precious and everything just right for a cosy getaway. Link here while it lasts.

This little cottage is so Australian it makes me home sick. I love all of it and would happily have it for my every day house...although that tub in the floor looks awfully small; must be all the water restrictions.
Is that a bath in the floor? looks far too easy to stub a toe on the tap or break a leg falling in after a mis-step.
Oh, I want to live there!!!

Lovely wooden bookshelves! (though on second look, they look slightly difficult to access. Six inch toe-space, anyone?)
I would have this as my summer getaway, winter hideout, spring surprise and autumn retreat!
Picture perfect from the outside. I'm intrigued by the bath tub placement as well. I imagine that, with those magnificent windows, it looks out into a garden?
This looks like the perfect country place !! I would love to escape there.

So charming!
This is the cutest little house.
This is where I want to be right now...so charming!!
Wow. Love the look of the place, but everywhere you turn, there's a deathtrap!
I'm usually not very fond of cottages but this is one where I would like to live.
I have rented this house twice for weekends away with friends and family. It's absolutely stunning. Simple, rustic and in a peaceful setting. Oh how I wish I could come up with the asking price.
