Le Logis de Puygaty
Once upon a time in a far away land (everywhere is far away if you live in Australia) lived a stressed out princess who really, really wanted to swap places with Sleeping Beauty if sleeping meant napping in these beds. The French seem so good at it. Rustic wonderlands with super comfy down filled, linen clad beds, sunny outsides and cave like insides. History, laidback luxury, warm winds blowing, great wine, fabulous food, warm pools for between nap dips and too cute pets. Move over Sleeping Beauty I'm taking over your bed! Le Logis de Puygaty, a fairytale of a getaway.

I love everything about this place! The cosy couches; the stone bathroom;the heavy linen drapes; the open fireplace and that garden .... if only I was a princess!!
It's very beautiful. But that cat in the bowl? Special :)
Schööööööön....
It's not fair to publish such a nice place on Monday morning when you have an hard working week in front of you and your only desire is to run somewhere else! :D
I'm always amazed to see how mid-century designs find the right spot even in a country house...this is the good design to me.
Thanks for letting us dream.
Ciao.
What a Dreamy place!I Love everything about this Place... in every inch is just Beautiful, very relaxing, look so cozy and lived in just the way a home should feel!Divine Photography Too! Outstanding Blog-Post!
Beautiful! I would move in right now!
What a beautiful rustic space. great post ;-)
This place is perfect!.... Love love love it! Thanks for giving us the priviledge to look at this marvelous place.
just perfect!!!!
This space is what I would call, paradise.
The French are exceptionally good at it, what a perfect mix between grand and rustic. What is that strange comforter with the split in the corner though - made for a four-poster perhaps, and the flap at the end tucked in?
When can I move?
This is just amazing!
The simplicity is what makes this place. It allows the beautiful architecture take center stage.
Interesting mix of furniture: from traditional to very modern. I also like the floating staircases throughout the space.
@ Tricia Rose: In France, most comforters come like this, with the split at the corners. It is done this way so it can be tucked in at the end (as you guessed) without creating any folds nor damaging the quilt inside.
Beautiful place, perfect balance between rustic and mid-century design. I quite like the fuss-free window fittings: simple linen or hessian, just hung on nails... Brilliant!
I wouldn't live there as the place must be fairly cold, but a 'siesta' inside during hot summer day would be magnificient!
¡¡¡¡Fantástico!!!! Great! I love it!
So many thanks for posting this and it's clear you have quite a loyal following among your readers! We're certainly happy you enjoyed your stay and are grateful that you took this step!
