La Belle Juliette
I would LOVE to plan a trip to Europe one day. I went once to Italy when I was 4 to visit family (my mom is Italian). That is the extent of my European travels. SAD. Of course I'd have to visit Italy, but now it looks like I'd definitively have to plan a trip to Paris too, and stay at the new (opened Jan 2011) 4-star hotel called La Belle Juliette. It's located in central Paris, a short walk from Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Jardin du Luxembourg where the world of fashion meets Paris' most luxurious boutiques. It's chic yet cozy, luxurious yet refined, thank to the decor prowess of Anne Gelbard, the Parisian expert of "home couture" and architecture by Vincent Bastie. I think I'm in love! Very pretty! Paris is certainly stocking up on boutique hotels! I stayed at the Hotel de la Sorbonne in the Quartier Latin in 2008, and though the rooms are tiny, the design is really cool and the location ideal. :-) I can also recommend the Hotel Eiffel Sublime, which has nice color effects but a lot cheaper looking design. But it has a view of the Eiffel tower, all the while being affordable :-)
Wow! This hotel is amazing! I highly recommend a trip to Paris but I lived in Bordeaux for a semester and I recommend making your way down there too if you plan a trip to France.
Those shots are breathtaking!
We also stayed at a 4 star boutique hotel during our trip to Paris in Oct..great attention to detail..sheer luxury( hermes toiletries) and ofcourse prices to match..thanks for sharing this lovely hotel..beautiful! ..xx meenal

Ahhh Paris...it has a certain 'je ne sais quoi' about it. 4 star or 2 star, I would simply love being there. Thanks for adding more dimension to my dreams with these lovely photos.

I've never seen deep jewel tones look so incredibly elegant.
Oh my god, amazing!
I was just in paris, is a shame not to have discovered this hotel before, beautiful.
Beautiful shots!
TOTALLY LOVING THE PINK WITH THE RED IN THE FIRST PIC. I'M THINKING ABOUT USING THAT COLOR COMBO IN MY BEDROOM.
If you like the photos, check out the blog for the group that owns the hotel. Loads of great tips for exhibitions, museums, restaurants..
These are fabulous images. I mean, wow! I love all the pinks and feminine touches. I totally want to go to Europe!

These rooms positively GLOW! Totally stunning ~ like raspberry creams in a dark chocolate shell in a beautiful gilded box!
I could tell right away that Anne Gelbard was the designer. Her look, to me, is exquisite and elegant. Her use of color and metallics- yum!

OMG!! This hotel is right down my appartment and I've always wanted to see how it looks inside! And I can't believe I'm seeing the pictures here!! Thanks a lot!!
Oh wow, I really love the use of color! This would be the perfect place to stay when visiting Paris. Boutique hotels are totally the way to go!
GORGEOUS!! For just a moment I was a chic Parisian lounging gracefully on that vibrant fuschia settee instead of sitting on my couch in my jammies....
Oooo! That pale pink and gray suite makes me squirm with glee like a little girl!!! This place is so cool - dreamy, full of whimsey, and luscious!
