Vicariously stalking in my home town
I love stalking. I love it when other people stalk too. I also love showing how people in my part of the world live. Double win today then. Gem from Brisbane sent me a link to this post-war weatherboard and tile home. This type of house is a common sight in my neck of the woods. Built in the 50s and 60s they dot the streets around me and are often the first home choice of many young couples (or were before the housing market went stratospheric here). Today's home is in a very good suburb surrounded by lovely homes and just a stone's throw from the university which is real estate speak for big price tag for little home. Very nice little home though. Plenty of cute ideas for those just starting out. Link here while it lasts.
P.S. You must visit Gem's blog Bella Vizsla if you want to see the most photogenic pooch around!

Wonderful garden - good ideas for our own - thanks a lot!
That is one gorgeous home,
neat and fresh,
and I'm lovin' the outdoor spaces in there ♥
This is one of the best houses posted so far. One that we, mere mortals can envision ourselves living in :-)
beautiful! wish those were lining my street..........or that i was in one!
Love how airy and open the space is. The right paint choices add to that feeling like the light blue walls in the kitchen and beige's in the other rooms.
It looks gorgeous - how spacious and light! And the garden is just WOW! :-)
Umm this is my dream home. The landscaping is beautiful. Love the bathroom.
Those wood floors look incredible - particularly in the kitchen.
Gorgeous! You always come up with the best houses to peek into, and you're giving me such great ideas! (If only you could give me a bit more time to implement them!)
O_O Breathtaking! That is definitely beneath the Top 3 houses I've ever seen here, and that is saying something. All the windows and the light, so FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!
Beautiful in every way, love the furniture!
That bedroom is heaven! A window seat AND a porch... Love the kitchen and the color but don't understand the suspended cabinets on the island - you can't really sit at the island, so why not have cabinets on the bottom as well? Looks awkward.
Soooo much to love in this house. Great find!
beautiful home! so light and refreshing!
Wow! What a great house! I love it all, but the kitchen, that gorgeous bathroom and the fantastic covered porch are my favorites! I adore those striped outdoor blinds, they're amazing!
Hello! And that garden is insane!!!!
Absolutly beautiful! So laid back chic, love the taupe bedroom and bathroom. Your part of the world has great design. Love.
Beautiful home!!! I love the kitchen and outdoor space.
Is this place like, in the middle of the jungle?! (Joke.) Love all that foliage! I also LOVE the kitchen. Not what I'm usually drawn to but then I pictured myself in it and a huge grin spread across my face.
So beautiful and homey and relaxing. Thanks!
gorgeous home - the views of the forest right outside the windows are breathtaking.
