Beach stalking 1
Monday morning has come and gone in Australia (I'm always 14 hours ahead of Kim) and I had a severe case of Monday-itis. I must have suspected that that would be the case when I loaded pictures for my posts for the week on Sunday (yes I was that organised). I've been stalking seaside resorts. I think I needed to wake up in this Pearl Beach house. Only meters from the beach north of Sydney it comprises 2 pavilions combined by an outdoor dining area. Looks like plenty of room for everyone else suffering from Monday-itis. We could start a support group ... on Tuesday. Link here while it lasts. P.S. The real estate blurb says it belongs to an interior designer. Any idea who?

SIMPLY STUNNING..can i go there for my summer holiday...Please???...xx meenal
Checking out this fabulous property has definitely lightend my mood. Thanks for this.
The bleached wood ceilings with painted white beams are just lovely. As much as I love autumn - those blue blue days that go on forever - I wish we were heading for summer all over again like the northern hemisphere. I'd want to spend it somewhere like this.
Absolutly gorgeous, love beach houses, and these one is amazing. I´m also suffering of Monday-itis, because the images I've choosen for my post today, are Meg Ryan's Martha Vinyard Beach House, another fortunate one! P.s. love your blog.
Wow, talk about soaring ceilings!
I love nautical influences in a home, and I especially love the outside area. I'm from Northern Ireland and unfortunately we do not have consistently good weather, so it would be rare to find an outside space like this. Beautiful!
Oh yes, yes please! they certainly covered all moods of the house with those photos.
That deck is amazing - especially after dark, with those lights.
this is the house of my dream! it must cost a crazy ammount of money! still want it!
Oh my, thank you! Love the simplicity. Very inspiring...this goes into my "special" folder!!
WOW! I love it - particularly the barn doors. Thanks for cheering up the Monday.
The best gift for a busy Monday was to see this house! I love it and appreciate the photos at night so we can truly see a great design! The lighting is perfect.
Thank you!
That outdoor dining area and fireplace hit my spot. Very simple yet very ambient.
Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
I went to the listing and clicked through every single picture - isn't it helpful when they include the floor plans? In fact for me the layout is the outstanding feature, you can see the rationale behind every decision, and I love the way the two pavilion thing keeps the scale modest and vernacular.
Yes please. Especially the second, third and fouth to last pictures.
That house has a niceness that cheered me up for a while. I liked looking at those pictures. Thankyou for posting them. Tomorrow I'll hopefully get my prescription for anti-depressants. But it's nice to have little simple things that also stop you feeling so down all the time. Your pictures did that & I'm grateful. I'm so fed up all the time that this week I'm making my will. You see I'm already thinking of closing the doors on this life. Ah well, things may get better. They did just briefly when I stumbled upon this site. Thankyou again.
Gasp! That big open space in the first home is simply stunning! I love big open airy refreshing spaces like this one.
Magnificent! Just the kid of casual chic look I'd like to achieve. As a Sydney-sider I would definitely like to know who is the interior designer! Anyone?
Dear "me":
Having been in some extremely shitty mental places I know far more than I wish about how you're feeling. If you're anything like me, it'll be a long road back (I'm still on that road!) but little by little it'll get better. And then you'll be able to live with far more consciousness and you'll be able to find a more exquisite joy than you've known before.
My thoughts are with you.
Cozy, cozy, cozy!
Love this house!!! Since you are in a beach house stalker kind of mood, I would like to share the following with you. This one is located in Middlesex Beach, Delaware, USA. I've never been here, but I have my heart set on going someday. It's set in the middle of the woods and a 10 minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean.

WOOOOOW is all I can say!!!!
I'm beginning to get sick of stumbling upon only modern architecture websites-this was so refreshing! Absolutely beautiful!
