Heart Home magazine
Today is a great day. My French test is finally done (so please say a little prayer that I got the mark I needed) and I can finally have my life back and hopefully finish my Christmas preparations - well, present shopping and wrapping is all as I won't have time to bake/decorate or anything else. Before I get my arse in gear for all that I thought I'd take a few minutes and point out that there is a UK digital interiors magazine called Heart Home that you all MUST check out. It's frankly up there with Rue and Lonny. Seriously. A big thanks to Carole, one of the mag's 3 editors, for emailing us to let us know. Here are some of my favourite photos from the 2 issues they have launched so far.

Thanks for the heads up! This looks brilliant, particularly liked the cute work space (put it on pinterest) and the white kitchen. Off to have a mooch! Happy Christmas prepping. B x
That is *serious* decorating. I don't know, though... can it take the place of 'Apartment Therapy' in my heart?

Hey Kim - congratulations on your french test. I read your blog since about 3 years now and might have missed this information. But everytime you write about your french I ask myself what you learn french for. Jobwise, for travelling...you seem to be very ambitious and I*d just like to know.... :) Wish you a merry chritmas and a lot of fun with finally christmas preparations. Greetings from Germany Katharina. And be sure - I`d wish I would speak french - since Paris is only three hours away...
Thanks everyone (re: my exam)
Katharina, my day job is with the Canadian federal government. In most departments supervisory level positions require fluency in French and English. I have been a supervisor of a web development team (that I started my career with 9 yrs ago as a programmer) but have been holding the job temporarily for the past year and a half or so because I do not have the level I need in oral communication in French. I have been having a really hard time getting the level I need which is why I have mentioned learning French a few times. I have now taken the test 4 times and am praying to gawd this one was the last as I think I may be out of time/chances.
I NEED THAT BLACK SCREEN IN THE SECOND PICTURE! Any idea who makes that?
...i never saw Unicorns having Sex...;-))
