Artamus Hall

As I mentioned earlier today, I had to share with you all a few photos of Priscilla Glover and Ivan Spaller's home. This is really quite astonishing, hence right up their alley. I am (on a rare occasion) rendered speechless. It is a High Tudor house that we have named Artamus Hall. Attached are pics of the facade - before - then lifted 5 ft. Then completely reworked. Now this...

wait for it....

...waaiitt for itttt....

Speechless is the right word. I don't know if I like it, but I was stunned.

My taste runs more modern and minimalist nowadays, yet Tudor homes have enamored me since I was a kid, and they still do. Bravo!

LOVE this... today. Not sure how I might feel about it in two years when it was time to repaint. But still, I WANT. And looking at the outside of my new house, I could totally do it, too. LOL... that would certainly introduce me quick to the Neighborhood Association!

Oh, direction to my house ? Round the corner, down the road ... you won't miss it, i assure you .... YOU WON'T MISS IT ! LOVE !!!

A drastic change, sure, but i"m not sure if it's a great one. A little too kitschy... and I bet it'll be a pain to maintain this look as all those dark stained wooden pieces start aging.

OH MY GOD. Freaking amazing! What vision! And such an unexpected look! I love it.

We LOVE this -- it reminds me of Little Moreton Hall in the UK. We tried to contact you -- I wanted to do an article about your house decor-- and wanted to hear the story as well.

I for one am totally hoping you leave it as is!!!

Maybe you can rent it out for weddings or movies or something. ;)
