Monday's pets on furniture - part 1
If you'd like to send us photos to include in next week's "pets on furniture" post, please ensure your photos follow our basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it's dark or fuzzy (from a camera phone) then it may not make the cut. Thanks! (Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to desiretoinspirekim@hotmail.com and PLEASE don't send closeups of your pet!)
This is Pixel the Weimaraner trying out our brand new bed! We have just completed renovating our 1920s townhouse and are slowly filling it in with furniture. The bed is our own design made to order for us, and we love it! It is great for leaning on to relax and reading a book in the evening.

This is the feline love of my life, Minnie. She passed away in August and all the pictures I have of her seem to be closeups, these are the most zoomed out I have. I made her a bed out of a cola crate to keep her from sleeping on my hands and keyboard while I worked. First picture is the trial run where she was slightly suspicious, second picture she was madly in love with it.

what kind of dog is Jessie on the Anthropologie rug? i want one!
Love the photos of Minnie. Such a pretty cat!
Minne is so gorgeous! Am so very sorry for the loss of her. May the memories of her beauty and undoubtedly beautiful spirit be of comfort.
I love the way the "wings" on the headboard, sort of mirror the shape of the Weimaraner's ears.....or vice-versa. Nice composition!
Julia, I am so sorry for your loss. I believe that our spirits live on and I'm sure Minnie is with you still.
On a cautionary note, some cats are not interested in flowers, but lilies are poisonous to cats so just want everyone to be aware.
Love the Weimeraner. Love the bed. Love grey.
I love the picture of Noah! It looks like she knows she´s pretty and she is lying in a beautiful piece of furniture.
I love this kind of posts!
Thank you all so much for the kind words. @Sue you are right, they are poisonous, I made sure she had no interest in chewing plants before letting her near them (she just liked to gnaw on plastic bags, silly kitty)
P.O.F. best day of the week! They are all adorable!
Dear Marta & Antonio -
Gorgeous picture - would you mind telling me who made that bed for you? It's wonderful! I'd love to know the name of the company who can make beds to order to your own design!
Thanks!
love the first picture bed:) it¨ great! Love all animals too.
Oh goodness! Kim, Jo, Marta & Antonio - if any of you could provide a little more information on the details of the company that created that bed, I would be overjoyed. It is exactly what I've been searching for. I understand that it was custom made, but I'm wondering if it could perhaps be replicated. Any information would be so appreciated! Thanks!
