Pearse +1
Warm whites with rich wood accents, a dash of regal purple. Texture and layering. Elegance but liveability. Stylishly curated art and furniture. A study in restraint and good taste in Woollahra, Sydney. Love the cascade of frames down the kitchen dining area, the little details like the glass doorstop, the texture of the grasscloth walls, the sculptural elements, the flash of sexy, narrow legs on furniture. From Australian architects Pearse. (More on this firm here.)

Your description of these rooms was perfect. I couldn't agree more. I would say it is eloquently understated. One of the things I noticed is the diversity in the art work with quite a play on texture. I enjoy your blog and check in quite often.
What I love most about this modern style interior design is the intelligent expansion of spaces through use of light colors and of course, natural light. The sun-shaped mirror is particularly fascinating.
This totally resonates with me! Awesome!
I so want the floor lamp for my own living room.
I really love the natural light in this house!
Adore that console in the entrance hall -
Very subtle, pleasing mix of tone and texture. Lovely.
Love all the photo frames side by side- great photos!
Great house, particularly love the mirror! Do you know from where it was sourced?
Gracious entry is gracious. Want the lamps, all the lamps.
I'd happily live in the garage if I could take the floor lamp with me.
