WINKS

... my next project

WINKS - weekend links. Here we list what has come in during the week, things we've found and things we think you'll want to see. If you'd like to see your blog or website featured email us and if we think it fits with our readers we'll link you. So what's in this week?

  • Wire art installation at the Bay, Toronto. Botanticals and butterflies break from their wire whirlwind and bring a smile with their whimsy and wonder. Imagine these floating across your ceiling. Beautiful work from Toronto interior designer and artist Teresa Leung.

  • Weaving a magic of a different kind with a different material is Australian Darcy Clarke. Fluid shapes and scattering light and shadow. Earthy, tactile pieces that delight the eye with their organic shapes. Rough meets smooth, handmade meets modern design, old meets new. I need some of these in my life.

  • Photographer Anna Williams has shot for Martha Stewart Living, Real Simple, O Magazine. Her portfolio is full of inspiring interiors, luscious food, exotic destinations and beautiful people. (See our post on Anna here.) But Anna takes her work further in an ongoing essay exploring hunger, consumption and beauty. These stunning images are just a taste of what awaits you at the latest issue of The Voracity - A Princely Feast.

  • Tactile and sexy. Sleek and curvaceous. Sculptural furniture by Robert Austin Gonzalez, part of the Grace collection. I just want to polish these beautiful pieces over and over. Sensual, dare I say erotic? Love.
