When you're horrified by white (and a bonus)
Nathalie is horrified by white. So naturally she gravitates towards colour. And she's not afraid to use it....all over her apartment. In wacky and wonderful ways. (And after the jump is a genius small space solution).
And on the same website that I found Nathalie's home, I found a large selection of small spaces, including some pretty amazing solutions when dealing with cramped quarters. If you're fortunate enough to have an open loft space but aren't sure what to do for a bedroom, how about a rolling cube just large enough to fit a bed? This is SUCH a brilliant idea.

NO WAY! This bed in a box is the perfect solution for a open concept loft! + It's hot pink...
Wow! What an amazing idea. Cozy, too!
This is so over the top, but it works. I think that bed in the box, would be really cute for a child's bedroom.
Love the hot pink box!!!
I love that (bedroom excepted) she spares no opportunity to do something artistic with the walls and floors via art, wall graphics and drawings. The color jumps from room to room are gorgeous and exactly what I'm going for in my own home. The jaw dropper is that custom metal tv stand in the living room, wow!
I love the color and that is the coolest bed box ever. I wish I would've read your site when I lived in a studio. SOOOO many ideas!
Her chandelier lamp pieces are SOOOO interesting. I need a close up. Looks like perhaps she wrapped the cord in bendable wire and twine to create the look of branches? I'm thinking this would be super cute in a corner with a reading chair. hmmmm.... the possibilities. I want to go visit her!
Love the bed in the box idea -- very cool way to separate the space!
Who exactly IS this wonderful woman? I've squinted and squinted at every picture several times over. Her place is done with more freedom and verve than just about any other I've seen featured. She doesn't seem to give a fig for decorating fashions and rules. I love it! I, too, want to go and visit her.
Horrified by white? Say it ain't so! Bed on wheels - too fab!

Her apartment is a bit much for me, but I adore the hanging light in the bedroom, wonder if she made it. I will definitely check out her website, because I found the rolling bed cube pure genius! I wish I had had that in my studio apartment. Really cute.
As much as I love colour I think I'd be overwhelmed. A brave and fun home none the less :)
I'd feel overwhelmed - too many things going on for me - but the house is fun and I'm sure she enjoys it :-) The box for the bed is a clever idea, especially thanks to the wheels.
I like the Bed in a box. it's a very unique design and can save space in a room.
Nathalie must be a very cool person in person, her joyous personality really shines through in every room. Life as art.
Okay...that was incredible! Especially the bed in a box!
WANT. THAT. KITCHEN. NOW!!!!! =)
LOVE!
How vibrant and beautiful! The whole apartment looks like one piece of art... – I also love the idea with the bed cube, it seems so cosy and yet stylish. Thanks for sharing!
Love the box bed! I went to a party at a loft in St. Louis about 15 years ago that had the same type of moveable guest room... They dialed up the idea a step, however, and had bookshelves built into all three sides... It served as library/lounge/guest room all in one!
Hot pink?Check! Cubby house-like? Check! Comfy & cosy? Check! Mobile so I always keep the layout fresh and different?Check!
Can I stay there forever? pleaseeee?
