Loving all this sunny light and bright fun!
I LOVE yellow! It is the color that always makes me happy and reminds me of my wonderful sister. She painted her bedroom in her first home bright sunshine yellow and I fell in love with color right then and there. Every time I visited I would go upstairs and just sit and feel the yellow bouncing off the wall. I had grown up with neutrals, but supposedly before I was born my mother loved color to no bounds. She had a bright orange dining room and red sofa...I wouldn't have believed it if there weren't pictures to authenticate it. My sister is 10 years older, so she saw this exuberance, but I think by the time I came my mother was tired and just wanted restful spaces. For me I love color...it has the power to draw me in or repulse me.

I have just died and went to heaven. The Bumpkin loves the yellow. My favorite gasps of this post.....The entertainment center with the yellow recesses, the lamp, and the bathroom toward the end. I like most of these a lot! In recent years, I've developed an affinity for this sunny hue. And coincidentally, I dreamed about yellow last night (outfits, not interiors). Neat post.

I can't get enough of yellow this year! These are fantastic shots - LOVE the yellow chair. I'm thinking I need a yellow chair now for my living room.

Yellow, and other citrus colours are a HUGE trend this season. I like to think of this trend as Twisted Citrus.
