Some of my Mexico finds

I've been asked several times to show what I came home from Puerto Vallarta with. Besides a wicked suntan, some jewelry, 3 tops, a pair of pants, 3 pairs of super cheap and funky sandals, a bag, a few Spanish shelter mags, a lime squisher and a big bottle of vanilla, I brought back a few things I thought you guys might be interested in (yes, shopping was a high priority on this trip). Keep in mind I only brought one suitcase with me with as little in it as I could possibly manage so there wasn't much I could bring back. A few of these items I bought with someone you know in mind (sounds like Bo).

You got a TON of great things! Don't you just love Mexico?? Some of my most favorite pieces in my house are things I bought there - painted ceramics are the best!

Weight allowance for gorgeousness exceeded on that one, Kim! I'd like to see the suitcase you packed it all in!

That mirror....the cushions...and those two wee flaming hearts...so cool.

Sounds like I made some good choices. :-)

Kat - that is a painting on bark, probably destined for someone in Australia. ;)

The mirrors are both from Ponciana - see one of yesterday's posts.

whyioughtta, my average sized suitcase was half full going down. I packed strategically.

Oh boy! I've been waiting for this post! And it didn't disappoint. You really brought home beautiful stuff. I am amazed you got all that in your suitcase. Where there's a will there's a way. I especially love the mirror and the crosses. I love crosses so much, I could do a whole wall of them. I must comment on the 13th photo. What a gorgeous shot! The styling, the choice of objects, the lighting. Simply stunning! I could see that one enlarged. Love the beads, love the lace. Is the lace also from Mexico?

Kate, Jo - LOL!

Kerry - I would LOVE to shop and spend someone else's money. :)

Peggy - Thanks! I am amazed it all fit in my suitcase too. And if it didn't I would have bought another suitcase...and more stuff to fill it with! They had beautiful lace at Ponciana but if I recall correctly it was a bit pricey. The lace in the photos is an old doily my mom gave me that I tried making a bowl out of but it didn't turn out so I just flattened it. Now it's great to prop up behind stuff since it's really stiff.

As soon as I saw the mirror in your first photo, I had to hold down my heart from jumping out. I actually surprised my fiance because I was seriously left breathless at that mirror and kept repeating "Oh my gosh.." probably 12 times. That is a fantastic find!!! I love you for such a beautiful eyecandy. :) I'm going to link back to your blog from my blog.

once again, THANK YOU!

Lol, I wrote I love you.. Haha!! Yeah, that's how happy I was. I meant to say thank you and I love your find or somewhere along that line. I'm still in awe of that mirror. Don't mind me. hahaha!!
