Straight into my inspiration folder
I saw a couple photos of a home on Emma's blog the other day and I swear I thought I was going to have a stroke. It's so perfectly eclectic and funky and random that I had to post it here so I can refer to it at least once a day for the next 10 years. (It belongs to interior designer Marie Olsson Nylander, her husband and 3 children and was featured in Residence magazine).
P.S. I finally got around to posting a list of my favourite Ottawa shops - they're on my page so click here.

Absolutley gorgeous images. I love the use of color against the white and the old bits.
Fantastic... Love it! Thank you so much for this post :)

Such a beautiful combination of rustic and industrial...and the circular stairs...fabulous!!

When this post ended I actually shouted out loud "NO!" Love love love it. Thank you for putting it out there for us.
Really exceptional global gorgeousness. Thank you so much for this; I've saved every bit. What an inspiration!

I follow your site for ages now. And yesterday I got tagged and had to mention some other blogs which I find interesting. Sooo I put your names on my site with a link to this wonderful blog! Keep on going girls, you inspire me every day!
Leaves me breathless! High art to live in. Imagine what one could create living in such a space! Thank you for sharing.
This is my new dream home. Especially the "attic" spaces. WOW! I love the comfort, the simplicity, the vividness, and the "out of everywhere" vibe. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thumpity, thumpity, thumpity---my heart! Funny, I saw the desk photo with long hanging lamp on Emma's blog and saved it in my inspiration folder, but I neglected to see the link to the rest of the house. Thanks for looking out for me and putting it in my face! ;o) xSparky
The house is beautiful, but the quality of the photos is outstanding! Glowing but not over-exposed, very little shadow, so each shot has a magical air perfect for the setting. Loveit.
i was too lazy to follow the link on emma's blog. and now i'm kicking myself at what i almost missed. thanks!
wow, this is a stunning space!
Does anyone know the artist of the huge painting with the chessboard floor?
I can SO see you living in this place! It's gorgeous ...
Да,интересная комбинация!
i seriously think this is illegal. It's illigal to have a home like this and it's even more illegal to put pictures of homes like this on world wide web. world wide, just think of it... i'm slowly turning green from jelousy and excitement. beautiful.
Dreamy.
Oh, and I would be totally fine if anyone wanted to buy/make me a paper chandelier for Christmas!
