Honey when you said pool room ...

I was expecting something just a little different. Spa in the living room? There are BBQ facilities as well and retractable roof. Is this the ultimate bachelor pad? Check out the big red lips on the stairway artwork, pinup girl on the drawing board, the black mock croc bathroom (almost missed the headboard!), big TVs in the bedrooms and minimalist kitchen. I just described this to my husband and he wants to move right in. Real estate stalking sure does throw up some "interesting" pads! Have a great weekend everyone! (Link here while it lasts.)

Glad you like it girls. Now If one of you can cook, one can clean, I'll see the other two in the bedroom.

No offence, but I think this is sooo kitch - and not in a good way.....

WOW...That was my dream as a child to have a hidden pool in my home. I wish I kept my design b/c it was pretty cool...all on one level, not huge, but just big enough with a large kitchen.

WAUW? We Are Under Whelmed?

26 Nov 2010 | Unregistered CommenterKremlin

Ha, so cool. Just further proof you include in your home exactly what makes you happy. No rules.

I think it clashes BADLY :(
ugh so ugly.

I really like the pool room. That would come in handy after a workout! It's awesome!

26 Nov 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTheAL

WOW! That has to cost a lot of money. I would LOVE to visit!

Bad taste rules here but I have to admit it would be pretty great to hop into my own little indoor pool for a wee swim on a cold winter's night!

So OTT...but would be fun for a weekend!

found it - 168 Riley Street, Darlinghurst (Sydney) Australia. Next to Peaberry Expresso. Photo on Google Maps of exterior look nothing like the terraces here, so either Google has old pics, or this has been made up.

The pool is dangerous. The door could shut and drown someone.

27 Nov 2010 | Unregistered CommenterRay

Clever, absolutely Fresh and Totally Wild!! However, not totally impressed with exterior. :)

I agree with whoever made the comment about having whatever makes you happy in your own place. But this place for me? Nossumuch. Especially that pool. Some things are better left as concepts.

I see 'Rincewind' has taken the idea of mancave rather too much as an invitation.

Love the staircase in this post! It accomplishes it seems to me exactlynwhat the client asked for!
Thanks for an inside tour!

the idea of the pool cover is very creative!

i still don't get the "open" bathroom concept. why would anyone want to smell the bathroom while sleeping...?!
