Mikael Beckman

Oh my it doesn't get any better than gorgeous rooms swathed in Svenskt Tenn goodness styled by the amazing Mikael Beckman (these from his agent's site). Yum! It's not all Josef Frank colour riots and perfect pewter though in Beckman's portfolio. Something a little more 70s retro? You'll find it after the jump. P.S. Mikael blogs too!

beauty! although as a rule i am dead set against the proliferation of annoying vignette shots in design blogs and magazines, i suppose in a photographer's portfolio i'll let it pass.

The great use of bold fabrics is really inspiring. A go big or go home sense.

The sofa in that first photo is incredible. I want to fall into it and never get up.

Love the vignettes- really helpful when opening a store and looking for inspiration for groupings. Great colours too!

The details are incredibly good. The layouts are very simply, yet very elegant. These are classics. My personal favorite is the last picture on a dining set. It has awesome illusion effect when you view it sidewards.
