White
I've been stalking Swedish real estate sites again. Look here's a new one (well new to me)! Is the whole Scandi white thing over? Does it still give you goose bumps? I know it still tugs at my design heart. These days though I am loving natural floors, old timber, patina but, hey, white floors are still fab. I love the vibe of this home. Small but stylish, simple but just perfect for an inner city lifestyle. Please, please Santa if you are reading can I have that knitted throw for Christmas? Yummy! Link here.

lovely. always a fan of Scandinavian design.
Love the first shots but after the kitchen it turns a little too 'Ikea catalogue' for me!
yep - it works for me particularly when combined with lots of rustic wood and a dash of black.
I do love white and I wish I had some more natural light in order to pull off a room like these! Instead I paint a lot of stuff white and use it with my varying shades of grey & blue walls. And yes- weathered wood brings the look a long way and provides a bit of comfort to an otherwise stark space.
Yes I still l0ve white! In fact, we just moved and I'm so excited to incorporate lots of white..though I was also wondering if it's almost over? Regardless, my home will have a light-colored palette as opposed to the dark brown-everything trend. Thanks for the inspiration as always :)
I will always love the white thing, and i LOVE looking at pictures of white done well, but it's not for me.
I tried all white in the late 70s but found I kept bringing in color, so I gave up.
Now my white sofa and chairs are the white punctuation marks in a hibiscus pink painted room and I couldn't be happier.
nice fresh & clean feeling!
I love it!
hey guys,
what a great post! Just a quick question though: what's the name of the white chairs in the first, second and third pics?
Cheers
Billy
Billy, those chairs are Eames Molded Plastic Armchair - DAR
I absolutely adore the white hardwoods in this space. Stunning.
Beautiful room! Love doing WHITE events with hints of color!!
I love this entire collection of photos. even though it doesn't resemble the work that I do, I can still find inspiration in this mid century modern design. Thanks for sharing.
