Unexpected modern

This 18th century home in Paris is quite unexpectedly filled with modern and mid-century furnishings and funky art installations. I love the eclectic mix inside and the juxtaposition to the exterior (which I had to include a photo of as it makes me somewhat claustrophobic).

Amazing! I love the little sneak peak of the striped awning they have outside. Perfection!

That wood floor is fantastic! And the painting in the bedroom is just divine.

From that view, I'm pretty certain that this is my dream location! *Swoon*

I love the flooring. The decor is modern, but not avant garde, so it's warm and welcoming. I love it!

perfect. warm, light and bright. a nice reno of what looks like a classic haussmann apt. merci!

It's a beautiful apartment and the parquet floors are lovely. However, that chaise lounge has to go! lol....

I wonder if it's possible to seperate the multi-coloured chair so that it's smaller...

where is the picture of the exterior?

Thanks Anon - glad someone is paying attention and catching my mistakes.

To me the library is an eye-catcher. I would enjoy to lay down on the friendly coloured lounging sofa and read a book in the ray of light from the lamp. And the unobtrusive picture in this room compared to the "blue" photograph in the entry.. great!
