Napping nooks
This post was requested by Jessica, who has taken to hoarding sleepy, cozy nap nook pics. Many seem to be located in front of windows which is the perfect place to read a shelter mag then have a little nappy nap and dream of redecorating. Perfect plans for a Friday I'd say. :)

We never need an excuse to work in a cozy nook
Love the blog, never miss a post!
Now these ideas I like. Came just at the right time for our garden house that needs a daybed. thanks
there is something about the word "nook" that just sound comforting anyway.. this is a great collection of photos. I have a feeling that I'll be referring back to this post later....
Wow Amazing! Thank you for absolutely fulfilling my love of Nap Nooks! - Requesting Jessica
You're welcome Jessica and thank you Karo Design - link is fixed.
Hmm. I think I need one of these. But I think my dog & kittens would end up stealing it.
i love the one from bo bedre, very stylish!
Love these. I think window seats are fabulous and prove to be a great spot to have a phone call with your mother or daughter.
What a huge assortment of day beds! Loved them all!
Makes me want to take a nap now, great photos!
Desire to inspire? You have succeeded! I just found your blog and am totally in love with it. It makes me want to redecorate my apartment now!
I love this post. It makes me want to get out my favorite book and read.
What a perfect post for today! Honestly, I've been searching for daybeds for a project I've been working on and these are amazing! Also, I took a nap today...first one in a LONG time:-) Thanks!!
I spent some of this afternoon napping after a hard day shopping. Wish I had a fabulous spot like these.
I love your blog. I read it every day for inspiration.
Now to pick your brains...do you know what type of wallpaper Frank Roop is using? I love the effect and think I have also seen it in the lobby of the g hotel in Galway, Ireland. (http://www.theghotel.ie/).
Thank you.
Where should I look to find some of these pads? Are they more like daybed mattresses or is there a name for them?
Most of them are likely custom made - from foam and batting. But Urban Outfitters used to sell them as "floor cushions".
And sorry but I don't know where to find that wallpaper in the Frank Roop photo.
thanks for posting these! I had a great window seat in my childhood room but didn't really use it (my stuffed animals did, i guess). wishing i had one now!
Oh my ... oh my.. oh my... I just love day beds... I'm super impressed.. one is better than the other!!
Love the use of pallets in one of the above pics!
