More from Amanda Nisbet

I stumbled upon the website of New York based interior designer Amanda Nisbet the other day and was awed by the supply of gorgeous photos of her work. "Untethered by design rules, Amanda brings a fresh energetic approach to a traditional sense of luxury. Color, texture and form blend to create her trademark comfortable elegance. Her work seamlessly balances function and style, Classicism and Modernism, in surprising ways." Since it's been over a year since Jo posted some photos from her portfolio, I was eager to do a follow-up post.

Amanda is the queen of colour. She makes it look so easy but of course it's not.

Is there a way to find out where the items in the picture are from?

I was wondering the same thing Anonymous. I really like the lavendar and white grayish pillows on the bed in one of the design photos.

I really like your blog, but there are a couple things that could be fixed so as to be more user-friendly.. one would be to make your sidebar narrower so readers don't have to sidescroll, the second would be rename your images something other than two digit numbers. it's annoying for people who like to save a lot of photos for inspiration to need to rename every other image because they have the same name.

For those looking for info on products, perhaps Amanda has an email address on her website.

For those wanting to critique the layout of the blog, this isn't really the place as it has nothing to do with this post. We prefer emails.

Kim and Jo- Thank you so much for devoting so much time to this blog! It is definitely one of my favorite resources for daily eye candy. I really appreciate having somewhere that I can look at so many pretty photos without tons of words, and the search function is great too.

I love Amanda's style! All of the spaces she creates feel so livable! Very sophisticated and fun...I hope my own home looks half this good someday!

Thank you for featuring Amanda and spurring me on to look at her work. I fell head over heels in love with Jill Seelig's apartment when it was featured in O Magazine. Amanda's website has reinvigorated my passion for making the time to do something with my lovely, but bland cream box interior at home. Her use of colour to create what I find truely elegant homes just takes my breath away!

You know I have been admiring your blog for a couple years now, but I don't think that I have ever commented. These pics are beautiful. I just started my own blog so I guess I am more inclined to comment now since I have something to share also. Thanks for your inspiring blog.
