Jordi Canosa
Jordi Canosa is a photographer from Barcelona who has captured some of the most extraordinary spaces. From rustic villas to modern lofts, his photos are magical and take my breath away. So much so in fact, that this post is based on his more organic spaces, and tomorrow I'll feature some of the modern spaces he's photographed. Take a deep breath....and dig in....

stunning! absolutely stunning!
oh that bathtub looks so enticing to me right now.
i dont love the house but that bathtub!!! i can see myself in there :D
All of the photos are fantastic, but I'm particularly loving the huge farmhouse table with the shelving behind it about halfway down on the left.
Stunning! I am so jealous! Thanks for sharing.
you were right, take a deep breathe and dive right in! really and truly dreamy, comfy, natural and ideal. love, love love!
Gorgeous photos!
"organic spaces"-- I love these photos. Low to the floor, wood beams, uncomplicated. The Europeans really grasp this attitude, don't they?!
I absolutely love every room...but the kitchens especially! Be still my beating heart. They look so functional and homey -- just so perfect right for a house in the country.
Great photos - except that stairway looks dangerous!
Wow! I am so in love with everything about that house...
I love all the rustic appeal. Very casual chic!!
what do you mean, how can counter tops can be built like these? and what's the material, stone? it's so beautiful.
it is just me, or does it look like the door to the bathroom opens directly to the tub?
if she were facing the other way, anyone just passing would have a full view of her....unmentionables.
other than that, i absolutely love the house.
I agree that the stairs look a little iffy, but the rest is serenely dream inspiring. Looks like just what we pictured in our minds, while listening to get away songs in our teens and twenties. hmmmm fun and sexy house.
reminds me of the lord of the rings in a way
Absolutely gorgeous! I love the ceilings, stairs, and especially the living room with the fireplace with the step up to the fireplace. Awesome!!!
I am completely mesmerized by the brilliance of the fireplace/gathering room. The simplicity and practical use is genius. Excellent use of each area.
where this pictures were taken?
the 'stone' looks like cob. lovely lovely.
Que belleza de lugares; la chimenea me ha encantado. Todo parece de cuento, y los espacios inspiran mucha paz.
What is interesting is how we like the idea of what is presented but the practical application of the ideas, in the US anyway, would not go over well. There are no doors on any of the rooms, no closets, no cabinets, merely shelves with curtains. From a real estate perspective this would be a tough sell and would be viewed as houses to flip. I do find it amusing that what we call "artistic" and "rustic" is what used to be referred to as "unfinished".
I just stumbedpon this the kitty in the last pic is a nice touch :)
this is a reply to Andrews post...
i went through and found 4 pics in here that had doors and closets...
lol.. you dont usually look at the full picture of things do you?.. just the center.
i wish i could live in a cool space like that
I do think this dwelling lends itself to beautiful photos, but as I take a closer look at the types of seating and storage, I think I would not like to live here. Those mismatched cupboard doors in the kitchen, where one door is made of much more weathered wood look awful in my opinion. And would the weathered, greyer door fall apart sooner?
