Morten Holtum

I was so excited to stumble upon the portfolio of Danish photographer Morten Holtum. Such beautiful, light-filled photos of bright and eclectic spaces that I fell in love with. Hellooooooo white floors and that pink staircase! And the photo above? HEAVEN.

I looooove all of these photos! love the use of a neutral palette, using old and new and lots of texture...relaxed, but chic..love the vibe!

The room with the books and the round window is just perfect. I could stay there forever.

Awesomely inspiring pics !

That first picture is absolutely breathtaking! I'd love to spend a day curled up on that bed with a good book. Actually, I think I'd be out there rain or shine with books, laptops, work...

First of all I love the photography! Second, I'm not a huge fan of pink but I do love those stairs.

I am soooo close to doing all of the wood floors in the upstairs of my 1845 cobblestone farm house in white....They look so perfect in pictures, but I'm just not sure of the reality. Will they stay glossy? Do they scuff easily? Oil or latex? So many questions-should just try it out in the babies room I guess!

EB Finds - GO FOR IT but use oil-based (BM's Porch and Floor paint is FAB). Glossiness doesn't fade and scuffs maybe only if you're wearing black soled shoes around.

I swear that hot pink spiral stair is the same one that is on the cover of the Jeu de Paumes Paris Kid's Rooms book. I mean, how many hot pink spiral staircases could there be in the world?? :)
