What a beautiful day it is here today! I love this time of year (early autumn in Australia). Perfect for a little retro al fresco inspiration. If only my outdoor area looked as good as these retrolicious beauties. Hard to believe they are almost 40 years old! Yessss....BRING ON SUMMER! It was warm today here - we were driving around in the Jeep with the top off and I froze my arse off but it felt soooo good.

A flash from the past. Picture #3, the house with the mansard roof from Better Homes and Gardens. A picture of this house was in my "wish" file for years. 40 years ago I thought that would be my dream house. Time and good fortune changed that dream many times, but it was good to be reminded of the dreams of younger years. THanks
I LOVE your flashbacks. It's so great to see where we've been in design and what we go back to and what styles really don't go away.
