Emma D'Inverno
I love browsing a stylist's portfolio and seeing the creative ways they can organize vignettes, but often times I find the photos very product-y. But British stylist Emma D'Inverno has such an uncanny way of making the photos appear lived in and natural. Love that. And the colours in these spaces are so mild and soothing. Love that too.

Lave this color palette grey blck and white... So calm...
Beautiful! A side note: I love your website, the posts are always inspiring. The blog design, however isn't. It is really busy and the header and left panel are overwhelming. With a normal screen size, I am forced to scroll down just to start seeing your latest post. Have you heard this before? I know ads are important, but there are an incredible number of design blogs out there who present extremely well. It makes viewing that much more enjoyable.
Grey! Lovin' grey at the moment. Isn't everyone? :) Beautiful work here.
I've got the vintage typewriter of the 4th photo!. Exactly the same Olivetti! Anyone interested? (well, I'm joking as it weights more than me ;).
By the way, I love your blog more and more everyday. So inspiring...
Great, simply great
Lovely...calm and soothing.
I appreciate your brutal honesty categirl on the design I came up with for our blog. I disagree about the banner and left panel being really busy (banner is black and white and simple, the left panel is a simple column). And because our blog consists of only a tiny bit of wording and a whole whack of photos, you will have to scroll regardless of how tiny I make the banner and how many ads we could remove. You would maybe not have to scroll to see the first photo of the first post.
WOW!
I love all the grey walls. My favorite.
Love the bathroom - my aspiration is to have two sinks - hate the bathroom battle in the morning...
Framed photos have inspired me to take my 'To Frame' pile off to the framer on Monday.
I have a question - does anyone have any idea what the grey color on the walls in the dining room picture might be? I LOVE it and have been looking for something similar...
love your designs & pics!
