colorTHEORY

I recently heard about colorTHEORY, a residential and commercial interior styling company servicing the Boston area. Interior designers Brad Dufton and Benjamin Scott provide clients their expertise with color consultations, skilled painting, hanging wallpaper and selecting home furnishings. They are bold with colour and wallpaper patterns and I love that. I also love that they emphasize architectural details (ie. gorgeous moldings) using daring, stand-out colours that are so much more interesting than white.

Yum! Nothing short of delicious. Any idea where the bathroom wallpaper came from (the one with the cassettes and music equipment)? I have a client that it would be PERFECT for.

Karly- that paper came from a Aimee Wilder, she has fantastic designs! Also check out Elli Popp...really beautiful papers.

I think the bedroom with the houndstooth blanket and wall mural is on ATLA color contest?

So simple, yet so stunning. Just shows when you know how, you can create beauty with very little. Thanks for sharing these. I'm in the middle of remodel and was beginning to dread the decorating when finished. This has given me some wonderful ideas.

These spaces are so delightful! It really pays to get color advice when you're not sure about which colors to use. Color consultants can give you ideas that you never would have thought of. Thanks for sharing!

Interesting. I will not vote for an AT space that is professionally done.

Thanks Jessica! You're a godsend!

Perfect spaces. And the best dog w/furniture pic you've ever posted! Attitude, that's what this post is all about.

* Love the DOG PIC! Now, PLEEEEASE don't be annoyed with me for asking, OK(?), but, am I the ONLY one who finds "photo'ing" a bathroom with the LID SEAT UP to be offensive amongst OTHER things??? (Ewwww!)...

Thanks, kiddo!

Okay - I have been blogging for months about black trim and how I want to "do" that look in our new place. Here is just one of the posts: http://www.abcddesign.com/archives/2009/08/04/black-is-the-new-black-decorating-dark/

I have also have had the idea of just doing that in our place in the City... there is a new development in NYC who is doing high sheen black trim and it is sooooo delightful: http://www.abcddesign.com/archives/2009/09/25/abcds-dream-world/

Wonder if the trend of dark trim will be "over" by the time I actually get around to decorating?!?!
