Too often we focus in on modern, midcentury or vintage boho here on Desire to Inspire. Today it's time for something just a little more traditional. L.A. designer Amy Devault mixes old and new but with a traditional, elegant vibe. Her work is simple yet ornate, multi-layered with luxury finishes, glamorous and classic.

Such lovely rooms. I must agree that sometimes, ladies, you show too many "boho" homes (I call them boo-hoo). Amy's work is more my style. Classic, tailored and layered. More posts like this one please ;)
Sorry Anon but there will never be too much boho for us. Amy's style is not for me but I do love that last photo.
I agree with anonymous. This so called boho look, which is not accurate - it's really a minimal/contemporary blend - is looking so tired to me already. It is so copied, so mimicked, and so cookie cutter, but I guess that is part of the appeal, taking the personal out of it and rejecting the past. Thus everyone chunking all their inherited oblects, ironically the least environmentally conscious thing they could do. I think in a few years when young people realize how quickly this style will date as they become the next Brady Bunch joke, they are going to feel very foolish and wish they had their parents stuff back. To me these rooms just look like a woman undressed and at best dressed in cheap trendy clothing. The rooms are naked and don't know enough to be ashamed.
