Real estate stalking

Tough week at the office and I'm glad it's over and the weekend is ahead of me. I love that I'm about 14 hours ahead of Kim and my weekend has just begun. (I equally dislike that my weekend is over and she is still enjoying a lazy Sunday!) Now if I only had a spare few million for this Noosa waterfront property. It's only a 2 hour drive from here and an eternity away on my salary. A girl can dream though.

This house is just riduculously, insanely gorgeous. How do some people get to live in Paradise?

Amazing house. I love how you can open the living room wall!

I would love to move in and redecorate. LOL. I love the clever walls: shoji screens, plantation blinds...there's barely a separation between indoors and out. Nice home!

It's a fabulously fab house FOR SURE, but I can't help but laugh, because you would NEVER EVER find a house like that here. Why build a house that opens to the outdoors to that extreme when you can only open the doors about 4 months out of the year? Jo, shall I remind you of how jealous I am that you live in the freaking tropics?

I love this house and just wanted to brag that I'm off to Noosa for a few nights next week, not to anywhere so swanky but the view of the river is the same from the parks. It'll have to do!!

well goodness.. wouldn't it be womderful to come home to a place like this.. the thought of it almost makes me laugh.. coming from the deep deep cold (halifax, ns.. yup.. kim i can relate!.. ) and now living in the deep deep south (savannah, ga) i can imagine how having a indoor/outdoor living plan to be real nice... i guess you just need to be real smart to develop air flow or that a/c would be pumping all day long...
i really want to thank both of you for doing such a perfect job on here.. i come every few days when i have a little more time and can really look at the photos.. follow the links and real the blurbs.. yup.. effective stuff going on here! ha
take care and thanks for doing what you do!

Oh Jonathan, Halifax to Savannah! That's quite a culture shock. Thanks for stopping by!

Design here is all about passive air and sun control to help with cooling and heating hence the overhangs, sliding walls, shutters and one room width to parts of house to improve cross ventilation.

I didn't faint, but I think my heart stopped for a split second as I let out an audible GASP.
