Must must must must must

Run out now and grab the latest edition (May June) of Inside Out. I cannot begin to sing the praises of this Australian magazine. Honestly I believe it is one of the best shelter magazines out there and this brand new edition has me jumping up and down. I've taken a couple of photos of my copy to let you in on what's in store for you. The cover tells you that Liza Giles is inside (yes I know that we've all been salivating over her home since it appeared in Swedish Elle Interior) but wait there's more. OMG the New York apartment of Australian stylist Sibella Court and the über cool Greenwich Village digs of Aussie Andrew Egan (just a taste in the last pic).

Go now. Camp outside your favourite international magazine vendor's stall and buy yourself a copy. As we say here in Australia - do yourself a favour! It has nothing to do with my own obsession with bus rolls. I swear! (Click on the pictures for their full gorgeousness.)

*Magazine-envy panic* This could be the most intriguing shelter magazine issue I’ve previewed in some time – and I have NO idea where to buy it in the UK - ARRRGH!

Ooooh, so impressed!

I think I need a bus roll, I'm officially obsessed... Anyone know a good place to find one in Canada?

I agree. It's a great issue. It's a prime example of what Inside Out does best - creative, eclectic homes. It's gone a little too Belle for my liking in recent times and this is definitely a return to form. And this is coming from the "opposition".

Great comment Natalie. It's true that they have taken a slightly different tack lately and I guess that's why this issue really struck a cord with me. I of course think all Aussie mags are at the top of the shelter mag ladder and Real Living is an inspiring leader in this pack. And this is coming from a devoted reader :)

Midcentury Jo. Please help! I know that I should be the person answering this question - given I'm surrounded by interior products every day at Real Living magazine - but I'm struggling to find something for my nursery, and any ideas, suggestions would be most welcome. I need to find a nappy bin - okay, I know it doesn't sound glamorous. But I DON'T want it to look like a nappy bin. I was thinking of a wicker basket and sitting a plastic bin inside. It must have a lid - for obvious reasons - but not be plastic (unless in a Kartell kind of way). My home is slightly eclectic - its an Art Deco apartment with lots of bentwood chairs, striped walls and mismatched pieces: there are pics on my blog www.dailyimprint.blogspot.com. Any help would be most appreciated. Oh - and preferably something I can buy in Australia or order over the internet that isn't too pricey.

Told you it wasn't easy!!! :)

Thanks!
