Swedish homes for sale

I found a couple of really great homes for sale on Stockholm real estate site Skeppsholmen. The first is a bit almost country/shabby chic, definitively Scandinavian and totally adorable.

This flat is definitively on the more rustic side. The exposed beams, height of the ceilings and that floating walkway are to die for.

wow! I love the first one, especially the little eating area around with it's own room!

I deeply love almost everything about the first one—but what the hell happened in the kitchen? I mean, it's nice, for what it is (minus that tile), but it's like an entirely different house. Zero continuity, whereas the rest of the house flows really well.
The second one is dreamy, too.

I'm like GC with the kitchen...but I'd be dreamily happy to sign the papers on either one of the lovely pads! Swoon!

I'm not a huge shabby chic/country house-style fan, but I love how airy and open and clean the first one is. It would be a great place to relax.

I agree with the above commenters about the kitchen of the first home, though. Aside from the ceiling and windows, it appears to be a different place entirely and doesn't really fit with the description I gave it above! Strange decision.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who found that kitchen a tad odd. I'm not at all a fan of the blue either.

I'd still take the first house but I'd just need a can of white paint for the kitchen :)

I wouldn't mind if Santa gave me either of those for Xmas this year!
Have a great day both of you girls, keep up the great work in 2009!
