Jo's place

Went trawling through the thrift stores today and found this cane .... um .... drum table/storage box/thingy. It's perfect as a side table for my chair (and was ridiculously cheap). Thought I'd show you what this corner of my home looks like today. Knowing me it won't look like this by next weekend after I've been hunting in the thrift stores again :)

You are SO LUCKY to have scored that drum table and for so cheap! I am completely jealous. The room looks amazing and I love how eclectic it is. Although maybe it's the chair that makes everything else look so awesome. LOL

The drum table is a fun find and does look great sitting next to your fab green Egg Chair!

I love that your space looks so inviting, and it's eclectic in the best of ways! It definitely looks like a happy space where people must enjoy spending time.

You have an amazing eye! Also, an amazing ability to mix pieces of varying styles. The chair is fantastic, and of course the Saarinen tulip table is a classic... the colorful rug contrasts perfectly with the greens... and your artwork is divine! I want to hang out in this room : )

LOL! Almost choked on my coffee laughing! Thanks anonymous for your one word critique :):) I love when people think they are doing something daring by having a stab at someone but not having the guts to put a linkable name. I'm sure our tastes differ immensely but if I commented on your house you'd know because it would by signed electronically.

Thanks everyone!!!! It's still a work in progress. Always will be. And yes the chair makes the room.

neutral facial expression

Thanks Melissa and susieq. My place is so small that there isn't much room to turn around and take a photo of another corner :) Ryan - interesting sites but neutral facial expression takes me nowhere.

I love your place. Love it. The colors are just great. Is it just me or is white getting a little overdone? Keep on thriftin'girl just send what you find to me ;)

Fabulous space. You have a great artistic eye. I second the request for more! I'd love to see more of your gorgeous home for inspiration... more corners, please, even if you can't get a shot of an entire room due to space limitations.
