Arent & Pyke

I'm so excited to share today's post with you. For so long I have had this website bookmarked waiting for construction to finish. At last it's time to be inspired by the work of Sydney designers Juliette Arent and Sarah-Jane Pyke of Arent & Pyke. Influenced by mid-century modern and the international style their work is about passion and balance, details and texture. It's all about optimism! To truly appreciate these rooms you must must must go to the website, click on view larger and experience them full screen. I'm moving in!

I am speachless! It feels like someone on the other end of the world has read my mind. A friend of mine has a theory about "soul landscapes", the natural landscapes where you feel entirely at home. Well, Coogee House must be my "soul home".

Wonderfully put sofablog! That's just how I feel but my soul home is the Darling Point House.

Such beautiful rooms.I am so happy to see that some designers are still using bright colors in their work. I am not a big fan of the greys and beiges.

It's not a chalkboard in the dining room, it's a painting by Sydney artist Guy Maestri
